Shoebox Surprise Christmas parties
One of the highlights of the year on the Ditshego calender is the Shoebox Surprise Christmas party. God is always behind us and not once have we been short of gifts. We were so fortunate to be able to once again bless all 290 children with gifts. Not even Covid -19 would be able to dampen the spirits of this special occasion. There was so much excitement and their gratitude and happy faces were priceless.
Thanks to each and every one of you who so kindly donated a gift and brought so much joy to these children after a very challenging year. A special thanks goes out to Helene Liebenberg and the staff of Tarsus Technologies who contributed 103 gifts.
How to help with donations
Our day-care center creates an environment of love, security, education, stability for venerable children between the ages of 3 to 6 in and around the Mooiplaas area. With your help, we aim to expand the school to include orphans, children from child-headed households and children whose parents are unfit to work. Help us make a difference in the lives of these children by sponsoring a child.
